Do you Black Friday or Cyber Monday? How your online gift registry can help.
Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday. I cook for two whole days, spend time with my family and enjoy the day of giving thanks.
And then I ponder whether or not I should venture out the next morning to go shopping. After two busy days, do I really need the extra stress?
While many are enjoying Thanksgiving leftovers, many more are hitting the stores both online and offline. Are you one of them?
If you’ve got your Giftster wish list already created, you’re ahead of the game. Here’s my game plan for using Giftster to tackle all the holiday shopping without any stress.
Make a master list of everyone you plan to give a gift
Make sure to include your family, friends, teachers, co-workers, or anyone whom you’re planning to give a gift.
Check their Giftster wish list for gift ideas
Reserve the item(s) you’d like to purchase for each person. Those items will show up on your Giftster shopping list. If there is a person who does not have a gift wish list created, send them an invitation to your group so they can make a list and you can shop through it.
Check all the specials and deals
Depending on the items you’ve chosen, some may be worth battling the Black Friday crowds to get a good deal while others may be worth waiting till Cyber Monday to purchase. You can also choose to wait further into the season if you’re planning a shopping trip with family or friends.
Use mobile Giftster while in stores
Giftster runs on iPhones, Android phones and other smartphone devices at m.giftster.com. Mark items off of others’ lists as reserved or purchased, or add items to your own wish list while you’re in the store.
Hanukkah is already in full swing so there’s already a gift giving sense of urgency. For others, there are 25 shopping days till Christmas.
As for me, I’m not worried about all the gift giving this year. I’m letting Giftster do the hard part so I have more time to spend with my family celebrating the season.
