The French language classroom has added a Reading Corner to encourage free reading time during the school day. The items on this list (book choices, seating availability, etc.) have been carefully selected based on the results of research in the fields of second language development and literacy studies. The number preceding each book indicates which level of French (French 1-4) students would need to be taking in order to understand the book. Over the next few years, I would eventually be able to purchase all these books with my allocation, but your support would allow students to benefit from access to MORE books SOONER :)
