I have many collectors in my life.  My mom collects British royalty china tea cups.  My mother-in-law collects all things Disney.  My best friend collects “Gone with the Wind” collectibles.  I know that these are things that they treasure and when I give them a gift, I’d like to add to this collection for them.

But what do I add?  How do I know what pieces they have and what pieces they have versus the pieces they’d like to have for their collection?

Ask your favorite collector to make a list of items they’d like to acquire for their collection.  This way, you won’t buy them a piece that they already have.
