Back to Giftster – Aimee's Blog – Gift Giving Ideas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I know what you’re thinking.  It’s not even the 4th of July!  Who wants to think about Christmas?  Giftster does!  It’s never too early to start those holiday wish lists.  And more importantly – when you see your family over the summer, you can nag them to get their list updated, too!

There are a number of reasons to have your wishlist updated sooner than later.

It will give early shoppers a good head start.

You may not want to think about holiday shopping, but others might.  Knowing what you’re wishing and hoping for will help these early birds while on their mission to be completed with their shopping as soon as possible.

It will give those making handmade items enough lead time.

I’m an avid crocheter.  I love making my family handmade gifts, but I can’t turn them out overnight.  Knowing which family members would like a scarf while others would like an afghan helps me immensely so I can plan and coordinate my time to get the gifts completed.

It will be easier to spot a good deal.

How many times have you had that head smacking moment when you could have gotten a gift at a much cheaper price if you had only known that this is what your loved one wanted?  It’s happened to me on more than one occasion.  Do your friends and family a favor and list your wishes early so they can keep an eye out for those special deals.

It will make it easier for shoppers to hunt down that special item.

Now Giftster makes it easy for you to list exactly where a gift giver can find that special gift.  But if that special something is a popular item or one that isn’t as easily able to be located, knowing earlier is better.  The last thing you want is it to be December and that special something is completely sold out.

Take the time to update your list today and don’t forget to remind others in your group to do the same.

Update your Giftster wishlist now.
