You may have reached this blog and thought to yourself, “who is this incredibly intelligent woman who knows so much about gifting and why should I listen to her?” Let me start by saying that your assessment is spot on and I’m glad we’ve found each other. While you’re here, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who are new to Giftster and why I’m not only the proud Giftster Tipster but also a very enthusiastic member.
My name is Aimee and I’m a working mom of two kids who are currently ages 8 and 5. I’m an only child but married to a wonderful man with siblings who love me like a sister. We’re blessed to still have our parents with us who spoil our kids rotten as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a couple grandparents.
A few years back, the infinitely wise Ron Reimann asked if I’d like to be part of his endeavor to make gift giving of all kinds easier for mankind. Now, I love giving gifts…I mean…REALLY love giving gifts. It didn’t take me long to hop on the Giftster express to help spread peace, love and good gifting to all.
I was like a kid watching for Santa at Christmas time as I waited for the first roll out of Giftster. I kept asking Ron, “is it ready yet? How about now? Now? NOW?!” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the application and make all my holiday shopping, birthday gift buying and even the quick-I-need-to-give-my-husband-something-so-he-doesn’t-see-that-I-broke-that present finding easier.
And finally, it was ready. From that point on, my gift shopping, planning and organizing has been forever changed.
Everyone in my family has an account and uses it for gift giving. We’re giving great gifts that often start great conversations after we’ve opened presents during the holidays. And best of all, we spend less time worrying about what’s under the wrapping and more time enjoying each others company.
Over the years, thousands have been using Giftster and have helped us evolve to what it is today. Our basic design elements of easily being able to create and share a wish list with your family group have remained while we’ve added many other time saving features. We’ve got mobile apps for iPhones and Android phones. The simple site design allows for tablets of all kinds to easily use the Giftster.com site and for those who have other mobile devices, the site runs at m.giftster.com. We have the Add-to-Giftster button (my new favorite Giftster gadget) that makes adding to your wish list from your computer even easier. And believe me, that’s only the beginning.
Most of the cool things we add to Giftster come from YOU! We love hearing from and talking with our members when they give us feedback of all kinds. We love when it’s good and hope you enjoy us so much that you’ll spread the joy to everyone you know and ask them to join Giftster, too. When it’s not-so-good…well…no one likes to hear it but it’s what makes us better and helps Giftster make your life easier.
